FuRRR Feline Rescue

We are a 100% volunteer-run, no-kill, cage-free cat rescue based in New Hampshire. At FuRRR Feline Rescue, we help all kinds of cats—from playful kittens to older seniors, special needs cats, and those with medical or behavioral challenges. Many of our rescues come from overcrowded, high-risk shelters in rural North Carolina, where they’re at risk of being euthanized.

Our mission is to give a voice to the voiceless—to save cats that have been abandoned, neglected, or forgotten. Every cat we take in receives basic veterinary care including vaccines, spay/neuter surgery, parasite treatment, and a microchip. We also go above and beyond by taking in cats with serious medical needs, such as:

• Stomatitis, which often requires full-mouth tooth removal
• Nasopharyngeal polyps, which need surgery
• Entropion, a painful eyelid issue that can cause blindness without surgery
• Heart conditions, requiring echocardiograms
• FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis), once always fatal, now treatable—but still costly

Each year, we rescue between 450 and 600 cats. Thanks to our trusted vets at Muddy Creek Animal Care Center and Port City Veterinary Referral Hospital, we make sure every cat gets the best care possible.
