Since its establishment in 2016, GRAHC has increased the well-being and advancement of the Cambodian community by investing resources and increasing opportunities to address health and economic disparities in the Cambodian community. Over the past five years, GRAHC served 5000 individuals, with 80% of the clients from Cambodia/ Southeast Asian. GRAHC invests in the program areas: health, youth, low-income family development, and community engagement.

Testimonials

Advocacy, assistance and referral are at the heart of the organization and enable us to respond quickly to community needs based on that intimate and immediate interaction. These services include help with navigating government and community- based services, including translation but not limited to (Khmer and Spanish), Interpretation and negotiation, assistance with completing forms, and referrals to health and human services, employment, etc. The Global Refugee Awareness Healing center recognizes these issues and would like to use this grant to assist in and not limited to case workers, to handle everyday needs and information from our clients as well as to instruct them in such health care. Question, such examples are and limited Cancer, Diabetes, obesity, and High blood pressure. Also other aspects are Mental Health, ESL, Citizenship, Zumba classes, Workshop on health and mental classes.
