Georgia Humanities

As a nonprofit serving every corner of our state, Georgia Humanities connects people and communities to encourage conversation, education, and understanding. We share and support programming that engages all ages and backgrounds to explore what shapes us as individuals and binds us together as Georgians. We believe that by understanding ourselves and each other, we can create a society where we all feel valued, our ideas are heard, and our lives grow richer with meaning.

Funding for Georgia Humanities is provided by the Georgia General Assembly, the National Endowment for the Humanities, foundations, donors, and partners.
