Gainesville Civic Chorus Inc

Gainesville Master Chorale  Eighty auditioned voices under the direction of Dr. Will Kesling performed three major concerts this season. In December, GMC joined the UF Choral Union performance of The Sounds of the Season sponsored by the University of Florida. March 18 & 19, GMC joined the UF Choral Union and Dance Alive National Ballet in two performances of Carmina Burana.  The Ruby Anniversary Concert closes the season.

Gainesville Chamber Singers  The twenty voices of the Chamber Singers reach smaller venues under the leadership of the Gainesville Civic Chorus Assistant Director and Composer in Residence. The Chamber Singers performed Schubert-Mozart & More concert in November. In December, Amahl and the Night Visitors, A Christmas Opera was introduced to a Gainesville audience. The season closes with Spirit of America X, a tribute to veterans.

Gainesville Summer Sing Chorus  Summer Sing was reintroduced in 2015 as a community service. No Auditions, Everyone’s Welcome.  Opportunities to attend classes in music reading and theory before rehearsals begin May 9 at UF MB120

It is our desire to bring the finest in choral music to our community. Full orchestration and professional guest soloists not only enhance the performance but add significantly to the overall cost of producing a concert.
