Garden City Public Library Fnd Inc

Bells for Books is the mobile literacy program (bookmobile) of the Garden City Public Library.  It is funded entirely by donations and grants. 

Bells began in 1994 when teachers Ruth Wright and Kate McMillan noticed children in certain neighborhoods lacked access to reading materials during the summer months.  Bells continues to evolve, working towards our mission, to help children and families by promoting reading and literacy.
