Community Gatepath

Gatepath is joining hundreds of local nonprofits to unite our community in the act of giving during Silicon Valley Gives. Donations made through May 3 will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $20,000! 

From the classroom...

Brady was born with Down syndrome and pulmonary hypertension. His mom shares her emotional journey: “When I first found out about his diagnosis, I thought about all the things we hear in our culture, everyone saying he’ll be delayed and won’t have a good quality of life. With the help of Gatepath services – speech, OT, PT, and classes they’ve given us – I don’t believe any of that. They see what Brady’s capable of. I think Gatepath will help Brady reach his full potential and achieve everything he wants to in life.”

To the workplace...

Through Gatepath’s support, Ted has been working at Electronic Arts for almost two years. With his team of co-workers, he performs grounds maintenance and also provides office support by cleaning meeting rooms and wiping down white boards. When talking about his job, Ted proudly says, “Gatepath has helped me keep a job and meet new people. I like working with my co-workers because we’re good friends and we get the job done fast every day. I’m a great employee because I’m on time every day. Having a job puts gas in my truck and I can buy food.”
