Georgia Native Plant Society (GNPS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the stewardship and conservation of Georgia’s native plants and their habitats. Our vision is a better landscape in Georgia - one dominated by native plant communities that support native pollinators and other wildlife in healthy ecosystems. We are working towards this vision by growing people who love native plants!

GNPS was established in 1994 by a small group of determined native plant devotees to advocate the use and preservation of Georgia’s native plants. Now GNPS is a network of one state organization and 8 affiliated chapters throughout Georgia. 

We are growing people who love native plants and channeling this growth into education, conservation and advocacy.
