OUR MISSION:

TO PROMOTE THE PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING OF GEORGIANS

   We do this by:

  • Raising public awareness of mental health issues;
  • Promoting research-supported and evidence-based training and development of specialized skills and knowledge for professionals working with marginalized and at-risk populations;
  • Supporting student research and training opportunities;
  • Supporting and recognizing those who provide services to the community (such as reduced-cost or pro bono work) and those who conduct research that benefits the public and the people in its initiatives;
  • Building collaborative networks to promote the visibility and value of psychology and to expand its impact in Georgia.

Your gift has power — no matter the size — and it helps us fund this critical work!

With your help, since 2019 we have been able to:

  • Provide over  $9,000 in research awards

  • Develop and launch 42 Mental Health Moments podcast episodes

  • Provide mental health training and other support to first responders

  • Participate in the Atlanta Science Festival to provide Georgians with mental health education and resources

How can you help?    Donate throughout the month of November and through December 3, 2024 (Georgia Gives Day) to share your support and help us continue our work.

Unable to donate? Please contact us to inquire how you can support GPF in other ways!

Thank you again for your support and your shared vision to improve Georgian’s psychological health and well-being.
