Georgia Welcome Co-Op

The Welcome Co-op is Georgia’s trusted advocate for new refugees, helping to secure housing and ensure a smooth and seamless transition for our state’s newest and ever-resilient residents. We are a collaboration of the refugee resettlement organizations in Atlanta, building community together by providing a warm welcome to refugee families in Georgia. Our team secures housing, sets up welcoming homes, and provides clothing to new families. By partnering together, we can collectively say ‘welcome home’ to our newest neighbors. Last year we secured and set up welcoming homes for over 3,000 refugees and provided clothing and shoes to over 1,200 newcomers. 

The Welcome Co-Op, in partnership with Atlanta's refugee resettlement agencies, is expecting to welcome hundreds of refugees over the next two and a half months. We are prepared to provide a warm welcome to as many people as possible in the midst of a changing political landscape for refugees and immigrants. We expect to welcome record numbers of newcomers in the next 10 weeks, and we need your help! Your gifts this Georgia Gives Day will allow us to continue to provide welcoming homes to Atlanta's newest residents. It takes all of us to build community together and we welcome your partnership!
