In 2001, we held our first thirteen GINA Concerts from LA to NYC. Our goal was to create media attention for the thirteen missing people that we were highlighting on our "Look, Listen and Pass it On" CD When someone was FOUND because of our efforts we knew that the possibilities to find someone were a reality. GINA for Missing Persons FOUNDation was born and from that the annual Squeaky Wheel Tour.

Since 2001, we have highlighted the stories of thousands of missing people: on our website, through GINA Concerts and the Squeaky Wheel Tour, Live webcasts, songwriter contests and more...

The object of the Squeaky Wheel Tour 2017 is to gain as much media and community support for local missing persons throughout the world. GINA partners with entertainers to educate the public about local missing persons. There are approx 690,000 missing persons reports each year in the US. Most missing persons disappear without a media ready story. The Squeaky Wheel events aid the families in gaining media attention. The families of the missing attend the events and tell their stories whenever possible. Our video crew films the events and the families stories. We create YOU TUBE video's when the tour is over to further spread the word. 

By the support of the families of the missing, the local police, partner nonprofits, the people that attend the events and take flyers to post, the media that profiles the missing and the viewers, listeners and readers that observe the media tips come in, people are found and cases are solved. We are able to highlight more people and gain more media for the missing during this time of year than any other time.

GINA for Missing Persons FOUNDation’s mission is to educate the public by utilizing entertainment to create awareness and media attention for missing persons world-wide, and to offer a source of information to help people whose family members become missing. GINA was created in honor of musician Gina Bos, who disappeared from Lincoln, NE in October of 2000 after a performance. Her case remains unsolved.
