Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia (GSHG) believes in the power of every girl to change the world, and we offer a safe space for girls to take healthy risks, explore interests and connect with a powerful, supportive community of friends and mentors.
GSHG delivers the number one leadership development program for girls in the world, the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE), to over 13,000 girls and 4,466 adults in 122 counties across Georgia as well as two counties in South Carolina and one county in Alabama. Our council’s footprint is more than 48,000 square miles.
As Girl Scouts, girls get to lead their own adventure and team up with other girls in an all-girl, girl-led environment to choose the exciting, hands-on activities that interest them most.
Along the way, they’ll gain important skills in four areas that form the foundation of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience:
Girls will be inspired to discover their talents and passions in a safe and supportive all-girl, girl-led setting. They’ll join with other Girl Scouts and people in their community—and together, they’ll take action to change the world.
