During this unusual time of social distancing, Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia (GSHG) is still serving girls. Even as many events are on-hold and schools are closed, Girl Scouts is not cancelled. A Girl Scout can continue reaching her goals, earning badges and completing service projects to support those most negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Girl Scouts can proceed with virtual interactions with her troop and participate in activities from the safety of her home.
We know stability is important for girls, and GSHG is finding ways to be there for them. We have been thinking outside the box, and we have been able to develop a way to keep programming going virtually as well as hold virtual troop meetings. The opportunity to participate in the programming is not limited to Girl Scouts during this time. GSHG is allowing any girl to join in and experience what Girl Scouting is all about! If you would like to learn more about our virtual programs or know a girl who would benefit from taking part in the programs, please visit our website at www.gshg.org.
It’s with your help that GSHG is able to provide the tools to girls and troop leaders so they can continue in the Girl Scout program.
