Can one girl make the world a better place? In Girl Scouts, she can!

"I've always seen the value in serving others, because at the end of the day, this life isn't just about me. It's about my community, my family, and my world."                                  - Elisheba Dhilpe, Gold Awardee

Just 3 shots can protect a person for life ... that's why Elisheba chose to focus on Hepatitis B (HBV) awareness in her hometown in India for her Gold Award Project.

How did Elisheba take action to make change?

  • Started the first "Team HBV" club in India at two different schools, connecting them to Stanford's Asian Liver Center to promote sustainable action.
  • Organized a health fair and recruited a hospital to provide on the spot vaccinations for 50 people.
  • Develped a partnership with Green Tara Foundation to continue her efforts as a sustainable project spreading awareness through health outreach programs in 13 impoverished neighborhoods and 8 schools in Maharashtra.

Join us this giving season to support girls.

The Challenge: GIVE. SHARE. CHANGE THE WORLD.

We need YOU to make it happen! Will you join us?
