Girls on the Run - DC

GOTR-DC inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively intergates running. We envision a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams.

GOTR-DC started in 2006 with 13 girls on one team.  Today, GOTR-DC serves 1,600 girls annually in all 8 Wards of the District and provides scholarship funding to over 60% of those girls. 

GOTR-DC hears countless testimonials of the positive and often life-changing impact of the program on both the girls and their coaches.  Here are some of our favorites:
