GIVEHOPE Pancreatic Cancer Research and Awareness

GIVEHOPE is a volunteer-led organization dedicated to supporting pancreatic cancer patients and local researchers at the University of Cincinnati Cancer Center. Pancreatic cancer the fourth deadliest cancer in the United States and often goes undetected, and currently has a 5-year survival rate of 12%. Since its establishment in late 2010, GIVEHOPE, in collaboration with BSI Engineering, has raised over $1,000,000 to support pancreatic cancer research, prevention, and awareness initiatives, with a particular emphasis on the Greater Cincinnati area. It is crucial that we now intensify our efforts to expand our network of scientists, increase federal funding for research, enroll more patients in clinical trials, and raise national awareness by attracting more volunteers and participants to our events.
