Giving Gardens of Indiana Inc

Giving Gardens of Indiana was established as a 501(c)3 non profit organization in 2011. Our mission is to foster healthy communities by empowering individuals with the tools and knowledge needed to produce sustainable, organic gardens - starting from the ground up. Giving Gardens serves Whitley and surrounding counties. In 2014 we spearheaded the installment of the only educational urban farm in Columbia City, Indiana, utilizing 2.57 acres of vacant property that the city just recently deeded to our organization in November 2020. The farm boasts raised garden beds, a high tunnel and fruit guild. The farm is host to our monthly educational programs such as Farm & Forest School and Bloom Health Initiative.
