Global Church Partners

Global Church Partners began back in 2005, when 1 pastor from San Diego USA (Chuck) and 1 pastor from Rosarito MEX (Enrique) went to a small fishing village in central Mexico to follow-up on news that there might be interest in starting a new church there. The 2 went and met with pastors from the surrounding area. In the process, the pastors were asked what needs they had. The overwhelming response was a need for training. They desired to go to bible school, to further their education, and to gather tools for their ministries. As most of them have very small churches that provide for their minimal needs, they work 1-2 jobs to survive. They don't have the time or resources to pursue their dreams. The 2 agreed to come back in a few weeks and have a conference with theological teaching & training.

Conferences continue to this day, now on an annual basis. Pastors gather together for a week in the Fall and receive teaching, training, resources, and tools to take back with them to their churches. It is a special time! Many who were discouraged, burnt out, and ready to give up; come away refreshed, renewed, and eager to continue on in their ministries.

In 2013, Chuck & his family moved to Mexico full-time. Previously, they had travelled back and forth 2-3 times a year for conferences and ministry opportunities. Once on the ground, many more needs became apparent.

In a collaborative effort, resources are now available for children's & youth ministries. Also, economic development projects have begun to help pastors earn an income from livestock at their homes. This allows for them to have more time & resources to invest in their church, instead of being restricted by employment obligations other places.

Another great need is development of resources and tools for helping hurting women coming from abusive situations. This project is in process and with great expectation will be made available to churches in the coming months.

An exciting movement has also started in the greater Puerto Vallarta area. Chuck is part of the committee that brought the Global Leadership Summit there in February 2017. This is an amazing opportunity to present dynamic leadership material to a wide breadth of fields (business, government, school, church, etc.).
