Founded in 2007,

we aim to protect children and preserve families by providing mentorship and alternative, family-based care for children who are abandoned, abused, and exploited. Through the Daughter Project in Kern County, we focus upon the prevention, intervention, and restoration of young girls at risk of human trafficking and systematic abuse and the promotion of local, asset based community solutions.

Our Mission

is to preserve the family and rescue desperate children with the assistance of volunteer caregivers, local community organizations, and donors/child sponsors.

Our Vision

is to help as many children as possible who are victims of poverty, exploitation, and abuse using principled methods that represent the best possible outcome.

We Are Working in Kern County

to provide after school programs for girls living in at-risk neighborhoods. Female mentors build relationships with young girls and encourage them to discover their self-worth and inner beauty, overcome obstacles, and plan for the future. We also teach girls about how to protect themselves from the risks of trafficking and abuse. Soon, the Daughter Project Youth Shelter will be open to serving minor girls who are runaways or victims of commercial sexual exploitation. The shelter will provide rehabilitation and medical services, counseling, school support, and planning assistance.
