One of the most exciting things in our challenging sport is taking a group of talented players and watching them become a team. The Glory organization’s mission is to see each player grow in so many ways as she works through the process of becoming a better player, but most importantly a better person. Whether a player chooses to play D1, D2, D3, NAIA, Jr. College or decides not to play softball in college, being a member of our Glory Family will give her many opportunities to learn such wonderful lessons of putting others before herself, of what it truly means to be a team player and knowing by helping others achieve, they get back more than they could ever imagine.

What a compliment it is when college coach says how much they enjoy watching the Glory play because there is none of the “me first” atmosphere that surrounds so many teams, especially since the college game is most certainly not about me. When they watch a Glory player, they know she will be a team first, relentless competitor. Prepared to withstand the mental rigors of playing college ball.

As each player grows and matures, we help her navigate through the recruiting process as she searches for the best school that meets ALL of her needs. With one caveat: that she never forget the reason she started playing fastpitch softball as a little girl — because she LOVED the game not because she wanted a college scholarship. Too many young ladies get swept up into that trap while the fun and joy of competing is lost. Inner turmoil and fear of being labeled a failure as they focus on getting that big time scholarship creeps into their body language, the energy they display and often their performance suffers. Things college coaches do NOT want to see. Play for the love of the game. That is what is most appealing, and the Glory provides an environment that fosters that mindset. A scholarship is simply the cherry on top.

The players and families who invest in their teammates reap tremendous rewards. That’s what we cultivate and foster within the Glory organization. All you need to see is how many former players come back to help coach, mentor and embrace what they experienced — they want to pass it on. It is the ultimate challenge. And the reason we are not the organization for everyone.

We have tremendous gratitude for your faith in us and your desire to be part of something larger than yourself. Thank you for any contribution you can make toward helping young ladies achieve their dreams and becoming outstanding members of society.
