Golden Bone Rescue and Rehab

Recently we helped find Cooper, the handsome older boxer, a new home. Cooper is a senior and his family could no longer take care of him. He is now in a loving home where he will spend his senior years. The unpaid vetenarly bills for Cooper are nearly $1,000.00.

A very pregnant mama pug was surrendered to us several weeks ago. Mama was very young and in distress. She was cared for at a local vetenary hospital until her puppies were born. On Monday April 7 Mama and all of her puppies went to their new homes! We have outstanding medical bills for the care of mama and baby pugs.

Light is a handsome little Chihuahua boy, who was rescued by Golden Bone Rescue and Rehab, Inc. after he was left in a dumpster to die. When he was found Light was very skinny, sickly and covered in hot sauce! Needless to say he was very fearful at first, but after time with his foster family he blossomed into a happy healthy outgoing boy who is loved by everyone he meets. He was adopted by a family in Williams and now enjoys being spoiled, loved, and pampered. No more trash cans or dumpsters for this guy!

When a senior Jack Russell was left at a local shelter the staff was concerned this charming boy wouldn't do well in a traditional shelter environment. The shelter contacted us, who place the dog named Russell in one of our foster homes. Russell, now known as 'tucka' has long since been adopted and is thriving in his new home. Golen Bone helps many senior dogs like this one find loving forever homes every year. We work closely with many of our local shelters to help place dogs that might have a 'ruff' time finding a home through a traditional shelter adoption process because of age, illness, or behavior issues. We are able to place these dogs in loving foster homes where we can work with them and match them with the right family.

Shadow is a wonderful loving 14 year old boy who is losing his home and needs a new place to hang his hat. We desperately want to help this darling senior find a loving home, but we need your help! Shadow has Cushings Disease and some other senior medical concerns ... like needing 14 of his  teeth pulled. He will also require a special senior diet. We need more than $400.00 to cover the initial cost of Shadow's care. Please consider helping Shadow and other dogs like him!
