Golden Isles Youth Orchestra Inc

Golden Isles Youth Orchestra seeks to change young lives through the study and performance of classical music.

GIYO has a graded program of instruction:

Philharmonia - our top orchestra composed of auditioned strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion.

Symphonette - our beginning/intermediate string orchestra composed of strings musicians who are working on learning their instrument.

String-On - our music connection program for area 5th graders where we provide a week of instruction to an entire 5th grade class at an elementary school.

In-school Pods - twice weekly group instruction during the school day at participating middle and high schools.

Lessons - our subsidized Saturday individual lessons program.
