Goodwill Industries® of Sacramento Valley & Northern Nevada, Inc. is a non-profit 501(C)(3) social employment enterprise that provides comprehensive workforce development programs and wrap-around services to individuals in our community with the greatest barriers to employment, including veterans, homeless, individuals with disabilities, at-risk youth, the formerly incarcerated, and many more. In 2023, Goodwill provided over 16,940 life-changing services to members of our community. These services include vocational training, paid work experience, job coaching, and interview clothing assistance– providing holistic support to those we serve. Our retail stores and donation sites create an employment platform for job training and a funding stream for our community-based workforce development programs. The goal of these programs is to place people who are historically excluded from participation in the workforce into community-based, integrated, competitive employment.
