Community Services:
- Pleasant Valley Emergency Shelter for Men Who are Experiencing Homelessness
Pleasant Valley Emergency Shelter accommodates the needs of over 25 men and male-identifying individuals who are homeless every night of the year. NCM staff assists the residents in various ways to provide a structured environment and to support their progress. The shelter opens daily at 4:30 p.m., providing clients with safe, secure sleeping quarters, a hot shower, and a warm evening meal. The goal of the shelter is for residents to have a plan to move beyond need to self-sufficiency.
Food Pantry
- Our Food Pantry provides a week's worth of food for over 950 food-insecure individuals and families each month. It has become a pillar of support for the Northside community. Its volunteers are one of the primary drivers of success for allowing it to run as smoothly as it does for such a comprehensive operation.
