Grace Baptist Church of Arlington

Grace Baptist Church of Arlington constituted on July 5, 2009.  Many of the charter members had been members of Capitol Hill Baptist Church (CHBC) in Washington, DC previously and had a desire to advance the gospel in Arlington and Northern Virginia. Most of the charter members lived in Arlington or in other parts of Northern Virginia, but were commuting to Capitol Hill to hear the faithful preaching of God’s Word.  Desirous to be a part of a church in the community in which they lived, these members began meeting together to sing, pray, and hear from God’s Word.  In July of 2009, 31 believers covenanted with one another, constituted as a church, and called Mike Law Jr. as their pastor. The vision of Grace Baptist is the same that it was in the beginning – to glorify God by proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ in Arlington County and beyond, by God’s grace.
