Graces Closet Inc

In 2011 I started a nonprofit organization called Grace’s Closet.  I was troubled and saddened seeing people in our community who needed help and I wanted to be part of the solution.  After creating a Facebook page asking neighbors and friends for clothing donations I was flooded with support.   Our basement overflowed with bags and bins as I met clients in parking lots distributing what they needed out of the back of my car.  

 It’s three years later and hundreds of families have been assisted by Grace’s Closet and all of the people who have believed in our mission...to provide help to victims of abuse, disasters, homelessness, and financial hardship in the form of clothing, furniture, and household items.  We have grown rapidly and now have a storefront, board of directors, and 501(c)(3) tax exempt status.   

With your help we can touch more lives.  We can provide clothing to a woman and her children who are living in a shelter due to domestic violence.  We can give a dad who’s lost his job a package of Christmas gifts so his kids can have something under the tree.  We can provide household items to a family looking to start over after losing their house in a fire.   The future growth and success of Grace’s Closet depends on the generosity and support given by you and everyone in our community.  Thank you if you’ve given to us in the past and thank you in advance for partnering with us in the future.
