Graces Home of Veterans Home of Heroes

Grace's Home of Heroes is a nonprofit organization that caters specifically to elderly Veterans and their spouse for assisting living. 

Grace's Home of Heroes is hosting a fundraiser, honoring Veterans by helping eliminate food insecurity for military service members, veterans and family members.

Veterans Day is on November 11th and is a time to honor all that have served in the military during a time of war or peace.  It is a time to recognize and thank them for their service.

During the year, many veterans and their families for various reasons face food insecurities.   During such times, they may do without adequate food or they may obtain food assistance through the Food Pantry at Camp Shelby, the Salvation Army, Christian Services or other supportive services in the Hattiesburg and Pine Belt area. In addition, the holiday season is fast approaching, with Thanksgiving and Christmas just around the corner.

Grace’s Home of Heroes is launching an event to recognize veterans for Veteran’s Day by providing funds to the Food Pantry at Camp Shelby to help active service members, veterans and family secure food assistance that they may need during the year especially during this holiday season.  Our goal is to raise $3,000 for the Food Pantry at Camp Shelby by Veterans Day on November 11th.

Any donations over the $3,000 goal will be divided and donated to other organizations that provide food to the needy many of them being veterans during the year such as the Salvation Army, Christian Services, and similar organizations in the Hattiesburg & Pine Belt Area.
