Together, We Walk the Path to Recovery, Connection, and Possibility

At Granite Pathways, our mission is simple yet profound: to support individuals with mental illness, brain injuries and substance use challenges in achieving their life goals as valued members of their community. We believe that recovery is not only possible, it is powerful. And that belief is at the heart of everything we do.

Across New Hampshire, we offer a continuum of peer-driven, recovery-focused programs that meet people where they are.

  • Clubhouse Programs: In Manchester and Portsmouth, our Clubhouses provide welcoming spaces where adults living with mental illness and brain injuries can pursue employment, education, and community engagement. Members work side-by-side with staff and other members to build confidence, develop skills, and achieve personal goals.

  • Safe Harbor Recovery Center (SHRC): Located in Portsmouth, Safe Harbor offers peer-led support groups, wellness workshops, and recovery coaching for individuals and families navigating substance use challenges. It's a place to find connection, hope, and the tools for lasting recovery.

  • Strength to Succeed (STS): Recognizing the challenges faced by families involved with the Division for Children, Youth and Families (DCYF), STS provides voluntary, peer-to-peer support from staff with lived experience. Parent Partners and Family Peer Support Specialists assist families with treatment navigation, recovery support, housing, employment, and navigating the child welfare system. Since its inception, STS has supported over 1,700 families, helping them build resilience and achieve sustainable recovery.

  • Community Navigator Program: Our Community Navigators assist individuals with mental health or substance use needs in accessing resources such as housing, healthcare, food, and transportation. By providing hands-on support and advocacy, Navigators help reduce barriers and connect people to the services they need to thrive.

Last year alone, over 1,000 individuals turned to Granite Pathways for support. Hundreds found wellness tools, peer companionship, and the guidance they needed to move forward. Many entered our programs unemployed or uncertain, and left with job offers, new skills, and a sense of belonging. These are not just numbers—they're lives transformed.

Your donation during NH Gives helps fuel this transformation. It provides real, on-the-ground support for people working to rebuild their lives. It opens the doors of our Clubhouses. It makes recovery groups accessible. It tells someone, “You are not alone—and your future is worth investing in.”

Your support during NH Gives empowers Granite Pathways to continue providing these essential services. Every donation contributes to a stronger, healthier community where recovery is possible, and hope is restored.

Donate today and be a catalyst for change.
