In February 2007, Joan Fossum and Mary Divers organized the Granite State Ringers (GSR) as a community handbell choir. Their vision was to offer committed handbell musicians the opportunity to learn and perform challenging music for audiences all over New Hampshire. Since then, GSR has grown its mission to include education programs for youth and adults while using its talents to support local and international groups in need.  In our concerts, we've been proud to world-premiere pieces by some of the handbell world's most beloved composers.

But making beautiful handbell music is expensive!  GSR's operating costs are significant, and we'd love your help in meeting our expenses.  Our biggest monthly expenditure is rent for our studio in Concord, NH, where we rehearse and store our bells, chimes, tables, pads, music, and lots of other equipment.  Other major expenses include transportation-related costs such as gas and insuring our trailer, and purchase of new music.

Please help us continue to bring handbell music to audiences across New England.  We very much appreciate your support!
