Granite Pathways

Serious mental illness afftects over 6% of the population and typically begins in the prime of one's life -- age 14 to 24. It robs people of their friends, educational plans, career plans, financial security, and too often even their families. However, it does not rob them of their intelligence, their aspirations, and their value to the community.

Granite Pathways was founded by private individuals in Manchester, NH to eliminate the isolation of mental illness and bring to NH a proven model of peer support and empowerment (the certified Clubhouse model) that restores hope and dignity and achieves impressive outcomes in employment, advanced education, and wellness.  

Through the generosity of private donors, Granite Pathways is available to every member of the community facing serious mental illness, regardless of financial means. Membership is free to all those who make the choice to help themselves and others like them.
