In 2016, the Greater Birmingham Humane Society expects to receive more than 18,000 stray, injured, abandoned and neglected animals. Our need is greater than it has ever been!
Because of YOUR genorosity, the volunteers and staff of GBHS and Animal Care & Control are able to provide each animal with medicine, vaccinations, fod and shelter, a place to play, behavior training, and hope for a new family.
Since 1883, the mission of the GBHS has been to "promote the humane treatment of people and animals through education, advocacy and services."
