Greater Huntsville Humane Society

The Greater Huntsville Humane Society was incorporated in December of 1969 as a non-profit, volunteer organization with 39 charter members. The goals of the society were to promote the humane treatment of animals, maintain an animal shelter with an active adoption program, cooperate with other agencies in the protection of animals, and conduct a humane education program.
