Green Street Rescue

Green Street Rescue ( GSR) 's mission is to prevent suffering and cruelty to animals by assisting cats that are feral or have been abandoned , abused or are otherwise homeless. GSR will assist with trapping and rescue work and direct trappers to the local low cost spay/neuter clinics. GSR will educate about Trap, Neuter, Return, Manage (TNRM) for feral colonies and for friendly cats will direct individuals on the proper steps to take ownership of the cat(s) themselves or network with them to find foster homes and /or permanent homes for the friendly rescues. The goal of GSR is to stop cats from being euthanized simply because too  many unwanted kittens are born on our streets and too many un-managed colonies exist. GSR is an official tax-exempt organization.
