Greenfield Township Volunteer Fire Company

For over 75 years, Greenfield Township Volunteer Fire Company (GTVFC) has a long and successful history of proudly serving the community with dedication and courage. GTVFC is an organization that is operated strictly by volunteers that rigorously implements frequent specialized training in emergency response, safety education and community outreach through unity and leadership. The department serves not only Greenfield Township but many surrounding communities by partnering and offering rapid response to fire emergencies, medical care and public service functions with emphasis on the protection of life and property.  The department responds to a wide range of emergencies, including fires, car accidents, medical incidents, and natural disasters. The well-trained team of first responders is effective and dependable while putting service to others before self. GTVFC provides care and compassion to others in their most challenging times of need.  

The department is always growing and expanding services and recently added an American Red Cross Disaster shelter.

GTVFC supports a Junior Firefighters program, reaches out to the youth of our community, and promotes fire safety and emergency response education at community events.

The Department is recognized as a trusted partner in serving the community while promoting safety, preparedness, and encouraging growth for generations to come.

GTVFC is continually and diligently fundraising for the construction of a new fire station. Plans and development are currently underway. The majority of donations received goes toward not only current emergency response equipment and volunteer training but the building of the new fire station.

Our fire station is located at 10160 Station Road and guests are always welcome to attend our public business meetings the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm.
