Our Mission is to Create Opportunities for the Next Generation of Hockey Players in the Tampa bay area.   

     The Grow Hockey Movement strives to give all children in the Bay Area a chance to experience the game of hockey.

You bet! 

Our hometown Bolts are on another playoff run and the hockey craze that has swept through Florida in years prior is back yet again.  No better time than now to get kids involved with hockey and their community!

    We here at Grow Hockey have been building off this trend of hockey craziness by working with the local school districts, Lightning Made Hockey and the Tampa Inline Hockey League. The Grow Hockey Movement has been bringing entry level hockey to the community through a provision of services.  

     We offer affordable payment options, as well as inline and ball hockey clinics, so that each kid can have the opportunity to fall in love with the sport at any age.  Recently, Grow Hockey has helped grow the sport by hosting tournaments that attract teams from all over the state, along running the local youth hockey leagues coaching/refereeing duties.  As in all other team sports, it’s all about the opportunity.  All of us here at Grow Hockey know that there is something special about the sport of hockey and that a young kid may just need one chance at playing the sport to become a hockey player for life.

     Your donation to The Grow Hockey Movement will help bring more entry level hockey opportunities to the Bay Area children as well as children across the state.  We offer Learn-To-Play hockey sessions every Tuesday, and FREE ball hockey clinics on select weekends. For skilled players, the Grow Hockey Movement holds state wide tournaments right here in Tampa!  We encourage players of all levels to attend these programs and there is gear available for beginners.  Every donation helps, big or small, and will help reduce league fees for players.  Contact us on social media to find out how you can donate old hockey gear!

     Hockey is a sport that creates life long friendships, builds character and reinforces valuable life lessons such as teamwork and perseverance. The earlier a player laces up the skates, the longer they will stay involved in the sport. This is a great opportunity to get your child involved and to help them become involved in the Bay Area community.  We run our operations out of the Tampa Roller Rink right here in the center of the Bay Area.  

   Want to get your kids involved with hockey? Buy em a pair of roller blades, send them around the block and then come join us Tuesday at 5:30pm for inline hockey learn to play, all ages are encouraged, first session is free!  Ball Hockey and Inline Hockey are the building blocks to getting on to the Ice.  We all have NHL dreams as kids that started way back in a driveway, cul-de-sac or parking lot.
