Girl Scout Cookies: Invest in Girls, Change the World

The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the economic engine of Girl Scouts and a self-sufficiency model that helps ensure equitable experiences for girls and supports the local community through girl-led initiatives. Our project will support girls as they overcome the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic to have a safe and strong cookie sale in 2021 that will help fund their Girl Scouting goals, including serving their community, and protect the sustainability of our organization.

Our project addresses the specific challenges that COVID-19 will present for our cookie program in this extraordinary time. We have identified girl safety, online sales and training as the key components to ensure a successful cookie program. Funding will go toward the specific pandemic-related needs—personal protective equipment and supplies, additional training, and shipping expenses—that will support our girls as they continue to learn and grow through Girl Scouting and become our community leaders of tomorrow.
