See and hear Derrick's transformation above!

We provide shelter to 86 men each night, and over 400 individuals each year. Our shelter includes warm beds, hot meals provided by community volunteers, and friendly staff .The first step in restoring dignity and purpose is having a place to call home. All guests in shelter work one-on-one with a case manager to create a personalized plan to overcome homelessness. Guests leave with permanent housing, a family supporting income, and sustained sobriety or stable mental health.

At our shelter, we provide employment services with a full-time employment specialist, as well as an on-site mental health and substance abuse counseling clinic with three full-time clinicians. We also provide job training programs such as our Resident Manager program and the Cream City Gardens training program.

In addition to our shelter services, we also provide permanent, supported housing for over 300 men, women, and families in the Milwaukee area. In these programs, individuals are paired with a case manager to help them sustain their housing and general well-being. With the dedicated support of our staff, 95% of clients remain in permanent housing for the long-run.
