Fundamentally, we are seekers.  We look for the truth, the path, the rational way forward.  It’s that seeking that has brought us to the Dharma, the ultimate expression of the way things are, and of how to live a life of true and deep meaning.  In my own experience, I know that finding these teachings was a kind of home-coming, and so I think it’s fitting that the greatest aim of our center is to maintain its own home, so that an incalculable number of others can experience these teachings for generations to come.

In a world dominated by so many things that have so little real value, we have sought the path and we have found it.  Now we must nurture it, see that it grows, and share it with our friends, our neighbors, and our world.  Only we can step forward and build our community, only we can make sure that these authentic teachings are available not only for ourselves but for everyone.
