Our mission

The Guild Giving Foundation opens doors to new opportunities for the communities we serve, by encouraging employee volunteerism, supporting financial literacy, delivering on our commitment to provide shelter and inspiring positive change. 

Our local impact

Since its inception in 2016, the nonprofit Guild Giving Foundation has worked to strengthen communities where Guild Mortgage employees and customers live, supporting local and national charities through direct donations and fundraisers. Our local impact continues to strengthen families and our community, and we are making a difference by doing what matters.

Since 2017, our collaborations with local community partners have created positive and impactful change! Here are a few ways we've helped the local community:

• Partnered with San Diego Habitat for Humanity on a homebuilding project in Encinitas, providing a family of four a new beginning.
• Donated over $200,000 (from 2017-2019) to Urban Corps San Diego for the new North County facility, Diane Chalmers Center.
• Donated over $200,000 (from 2018, 2019, 2021) to Home Start San Diego for Miracle on 34th Street property construction and renovation.
• Donated $5,000 to the San Diego Foundation Black Community Investment Fund.
• Donated $5,000 to San Diego Habitat for Humanity Women Build.
• Donated $5,000 to San Diego Habitat for Humanity Veterans Build.
