St. Pete ArtWorks

St. Pete ArtWorks is a co-operative Art Gallery in Downtown St. Petersburg, operating as a d.b.a. of Gulf Coast Artists' Alliance, Inc.  We have 23 gallery artists working in a wide variety of media. With the skyrocketing costs of rents in our area, our rent will be doubling!! As a co-operative art gallery, our members share the overhead costs, but sales have not been enough to cover this dramatic increase in rent. We need your help to assist in offsetting these expenses.

The mission of our parent organization Gulf Coast Artists' Alliance (GCAA) is to provide the local art community with an opportunity to network, share resources, conduct workshops and classes, and hold exhibitions. The GCAA membership is comprised of visual, performing, and literary artists and art educators.  Our educational premise consists not only of offering art education to the general public, but to educate each other in terms of professional standards and fair practices. We promote artistic expression of all forms, and support and encourage artistic growth in each other.  What makes us exceptional compared to other art organizations or guilds is that our members are from all artistic disciplines, and we encourage those who are talented in multi-media. We are a group of visual artists, musicians, storytellers, actors, and poets who share our thoughts and ideas at our meetings and organize exhibitions and multi-media events across multi-cultural areas. GCAA is powered 100% by volunteers and has been since its formation over 10 years ago.
