The Global Need for Gender Equity. Founded in 2004, Global Women's Leadership Network (GWLN) is a non-profit organization focused on radically expanding the leadership capacity of women and girls, globally. We prepare women to be leaders or more impactful leaders to create social change around the world.

Our approach is to offer Transformational Leadership Education and create Regional Alliances of organizations focused on empowering women and girls. Alliance members are catalysts who support collaborative action to accelerate change and scale impact.

Women Leaders for the World (WLW). Our ten-year leadership education program empowers women to become exceptional leaders. They are founders and directors of organizations who are recognized as community leaders. GWLN alumni belong to a global network of women leaders who work and serve in over 40 countries. Based on a combination of expert teaching staff and coaching, women graduate from the program with broader visions and ready to make bold, breakthrough changes.Your support will fund the next WLW program which is scheduled for Spring 2015. Many of the participants come from developing countries and will need help with partial or full scholarships to attend.

Global Network of Regional Alliances. in 2013, a pilot program of regional alliances launched in Kenya, Africa and the San Francisco Bay Area, USA. Alliance members catalyze and support collective action to accelerate the empowerment of women and girls. Potential new sites include Turkey, India, New York and Washington, D.C. Your donations will help to support the growth of the alliances in Africa and the Bay Area; and to initiate the development of additional regional alliances.
