H.E.A.R.T.S. Connection

Children with "special needs" deserve to be in the community having fun with their siblings, cousins and friends.  Help us to put as many smiles on their faces as possible.  Let's see them enjoying life! 

Children with "special needs" typically have to deal with doctor appointments, therapy appointments, medications, and sometimes physical limitations.  Having a child with "special needs" can put a strain on the family--emotionally, financially and spiritually.  H.E.A.R.T.S. Connection supports parents of "special needs" children by providing parent-to-parent support, parent support groups, parent education on various systems that parents have to learn to navigate through and assistance with IEP meetings.  

Your donation will help our organization to continue to provide quality services to families who have children with disabilities in Kern County.  

Who We Are

H.E.A.R.T.S. Connection serves families who have children ages 3-22 who have a disability. We provide parent-to-parent support, parent support groups, parent education and IEP assistance. We serve all of Kern County.

Our mission is: To enhance the quality of life for people with special needs through a family directed resource center that symbolizes professionalism, dignity, compassion, and respect.
