Hempfield Area Band Parents Association Inc.

To arouse and maintain interest and participation in the Hempfield Area Senior High School band, to encourage cooperation among band members, band parents and the band director, and to raise and distribute the monies required for band activities other than those funded by the Hempfield Area School District.

The Hempfield Spartan Marching Band is one of the school district's primary outreach programs. The band performs at many local events including parades, football games and community music and cultural festivals. The band has represented the school and Greensburg community in performances all over the country, most notably the Rose Bowl Parade and the 50th anniversary of Hawaii Statehood.
