Habitat increases local tax revenues. By improving undeveloped land, adding new homes, renovating dilapidated housing and repairing properties. Habitat creates new property value, which increases property taxes. In addition to generating new tax revenues, Habitat's work in San Angelo is helping families move out of governmental support programs, freeing up resources and affordable rental housing opportunities for other families in need of a decent place to live.
