Alabama Association of Habitat Affiliates

Home Ownership is a key to stability for low-income families.  Over the past 35 years, Habitat for Humanity has built over 500,000 homes in over 89 countries.  Here in Alabama, over 2,000 homes have been built, providing affordable home ownership to qualified low income families.  These families put in up to 500 hours of "sweat equity"  along side of community volunteers in building there own homes.  The outcome is stabilty, security, and the opportunity for economic improvement for the whole family.  The need is great.  Over     families in Alabama are in need of decent, affordable housing. Please consider helping us support the Habitat affiliates around this state.  We provide advocacy, funding, training and disaster preparedness for Habitat Leaders around the state.
