Habitat for Humanity of North Idaho

Habitat for Humanity of North Idaho is a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. As a Christian ministry our primary outreach is to provide affordable housing to those in need.  We have been serving North Idaho since 1989.

Habitat for Humanity builds homes.  Habitat for Humanity also partners with qualifying homeowners to complete home repairs thru the 'A Brush with Kindness' program.  ABWK helps homeowners with repairs necessary to maintain the health and safety of the home.  

Habitat offers a hand up, not a hand out, as the families work with us to earn sweat equity towards their new home or home repair.  Together, the Habitat staff, volunteers, and families bring members of the community to work in equal partnership. 

Habitat hopes to build new relationships and a sense of community as well as new homes. We welcome volunteers and homeowners of all ages, faiths, and skill levels.
