Haitians in Tech

Haitian talent is one of Miami-Dade’s greatest assets. Haitians in Tech connects Haitian technology professionals, students, and enthusiasts with skills, relationships, and opportunities to use technology for community development.

Our Miami-Dade program footprint includes Little Haiti, Miami Gardens, North Miami, and North Miami Beach. Through STEM and technology learning, professional networking, and collaborative open-source civic-tech projects, we create ways for Haitian community members to build skills, connect with peers and mentors, and shape solutions to shared priorities. On May 18, 2026, MAST@FIU Biscayne Bay Campus in North Miami hosted a Haitian Flag Day celebration. Haitians in Tech joined students and community members in bringing Haitian heritage and STEM learning together. Our projects also connect local talent to public-interest challenges in Haiti and across the diaspora.
