Hammer & Nails’ mission is to help disadvantaged homeowners in Stark County, Ohio with the preservation, upkeep, and safety of their homes by providing an array of free home repair and maintenance services. These services improve the health of all residents living in the home and increase community development and economic growth. Services provided also protect the home’s value and the tax base of all surrounding homes. Homeowners can live comfortably without worrying about relocation due to city code violations or safety and health concerns brought on by poor living conditions. Priority is given to applicants who are low-income elderly, veterans, and/or disabled homeowners.
