Hand of Hope Ministries Omaha

Firmly rooted in Omaha, NE since 2007, Hand of Hope Ministries is a Christian-based mission team run completely by the unpaid volunteer efforts of our board.  The organization was formed to serve people throughout the Central US who have been impacted by natural disasters.  

Our mission begins when victims find out they have no resources or ability to rebuild.  We show them they are not forgotten, give them hope and provide rebuilding assistance to get back in their homes.

The "Teams” are comprised of an ever-changing group of people from multiple cities, various backgrounds and blessed with a variety of unique talents.  Having a serving heart is the common thread that pulls the Teams together.

In 2014 after organizing and leading 14 trips to multiple disaster sites, we applied to be a Non-Profit.

As of 2017 Hand of Hope Ministries Omaha expanded into Sioux City, IA. to offer serving opportunities to volunteers outside our initial reach area.

The majority of our volunteers pay their own way.  Donations allow us to both assist those in need at the disaster sites by purchasing materials and assist some volunteers who are unable to pay their full way but want to serve.

We appreciate the commitment of both our hundreds of Volunteers and our Donors who so far have combined to provide HOPE to Houston, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Joplin, MO, Moore and Oklahoma City, OK, Cedar Rapids and Correctionville, IA and Omaha.
