HandsOn Texarkana is dedicated to bridging the gaps in community services by fostering a spirit of volunteerism. We aim to inspire and mobilize individuals to actively meet the diverse needs of our community, ensuring a positive and lasting impact for all. Over 50 years serving our community - Leading the Way - People Helping People - Making a Difference through Volunteerism.
Our purpose is to make the Texarkana community better through advocating volunteerism. We believe it is a tool to create positive change. Both Texas and Arkansas citizens are served with volunteers through our programs including our Senior Transportation and Pantry, Youth Volunteer Organization, Skilled Parenting, and Disaster Preparedness. We are housed at the Collins Home for Weddings and Events, which is used as an event venue for special occasions. Rental fees help provide funding for programs provided and all funds stay in our community.

We are a member of the Points of Light Network - a nonpartisan organization with a global reach with focus on civic engagement and civic health in communities.
