Harborcreek Community Engagement Team

The mission of the Harborcreek Community Engagement Team is to position Harborcreek Township as an outstanding community in which to live, work, play, and invest. Our events and special initiatives are designed to build community. While community events are frequently used to fundraise or raise awareness, HCCET is intent on scheduling events just for fun. The main objective is to help people let loose, socialize, and meet new people. Outdoor concerts, pool parties, and clean-up days are just a few examples of community events that bring likeminded people together through shared passions and interests.

Two of our largest special initiatives are Keep it in the Creek Week and Harborcreek in Bloom. Keep it in the Creek is an annual celebration of all things Harborcreek. Launched in 2021, the event ties together our local non-profits, amazing volunteers, schools, people, parks, and businesses.

Harborcreek in Bloom is a friendly competition led by the HCCET, the purpose of which is to inspire businesses and residents (young and old) to plant gardens in the community. Registrations are due each May, with winning gardens selected in August. All gardens – veggie, general, oasis, and kid’s – are showcased on social media and in the township's Your Harborcreek magazine.
