Hargis House of Grand Island

We are a Non-Profit Woman's Club from Grand Island, Nebraska working to save the historic Hargis House built in 1898. Programs and events are offered educating and sharing info on the Victorian times, the histories of the property and people associated with the house and uplifting women . The House is currently available for tours as well.

Our goal is to renovate the house and offer tours to share the history of the era and original owner. Andrew Hargis was a prominent Grand Island citizen and philanthropist who was a leader, and an integral part our community. The Hargis House is available for weddings, graduations, meetings, showers of all kinds and other gatherings. We offer events and speakers to the public.
